You’ll find working with us is easy since we’ve had plenty of experience.
Our five-generation family business began in Wethersfield in 1889 as a threshing machine company with 17 crews and machines traveling the midwest.
Over the years we’ve had a blacksmith shop (original tools donated to Bishop Hill), a house-moving service, farm implement company, hardware store and car dealership.
We sold the first car in Henry County in 1906, a one-cylinder Glyde which came in a crate and our early employees assembled on site. We now specialize exclusively in new and pre-owned car sales and have the best service center in the area with all ASE certified mechanics.
